111th day fun in 1st grade

We had a great time yesterday celebrating the 111th day of 1st grade.  Wow, I can't believe we have been in 1st grade 111 day.  The kids have grown so much.  Check out all the fun.

Critters, Critters, Critters

We have class pets and we are learning how to take care of them.  They are teaching us a lot about interdependence and about how all living things work together.  Check them out.  Most of the kids loved holding and playing with the red worms but a few just wanted to watch.

We also have isopods.  Have your child tell you what an isopod is.  We had so much fun adding these little critters to our habitat.
