love for writing and do many hands on science projects. I believe every child is unique and it is part of my job, as their teacher, to help them discover the approach to learning that works best for them.
I grew up in South Texas and graduated from Saint Mary's University in 2004.
After graduation, I moved to the Waco/Temple Area
and began teaching. This is my eleventh year at Winkley. I have taught 1st grade for thirteen years and this is my 3rd year teaching 2nd grade. I am married and we have two sons and a daughter,
Brendan who is 11, Preston who is 9 and Caroline who is 6. We also have 3 dogs, Rango, Abby and Ophelia, 3 goats and lots of chickens!! I stay pretty busy, but when I find free time,
I love baking and cooking healthy meals, running or just hanging out with my family.
