Busy, Busy, Busy

We have been so busy in 2nd grade.  We have learned so many new things in just a few short weeks.  Check out some of the fun and learning we have had.



                             Here we are working so hard making our Writer's Notebooks our own.

They look so great and really help to facilitate ownership of learning!!

 Here we are experimenting with Sound Energy.  The kids had a blast making sound vibrations in water....

                                                  They also were able to feel sound energy.....

                          And they got to watch sound energy vibrations bounce up and down.

The 1st weeks of 2nd grade

We have had so much fun learning new things in the last week.  It has been great getting to know your child.  Hopefully they have been going home excited about school.  Here we are writing some very special people letters.  I wonder who it is???

We also had the most fun in Science today.  Ask your child all about it.  We learned how to balance a pencil on the edge of our desk.  All I can say is minds blown!!
