Beginning of school things

Your child may bring a single serving of a healthy snack from home each day. This may be eaten in class during a 10-minute break. Nutritious snacks such as crackers, vegetables, and fruit make excellent choices as they can be consumed with little mess and finished in a few minutes. 

When children come to school hungry they do not feel their best and cannot perform at their optimal level. Even if your child says that he/she is not hungry, please insist that some form of breakfast is consumed.

Your child may also bring a small water bottle to class each day. Please make sure the water bottle has a sport top that can be closed easily and tightly to prevent spills. Water bottles will be kept at the student’s desk and used as needed.
